Any reason, why you assigned it to java team and did not let the bug-wranglers assign it to the maintainer of that ebuild? Could you also test with simple *FLAGS like "-march=core2 -Os -pipe"? No special reason. Just read somewhere that dev-java ebuilds belong to the Java category. I'm not used to the categorization practices in Gentoo bugzilla and I am sorry if this was a wrong assumption. Unfortunately the problem also occurs with those simple flags.
