Bug 301236 – When I do a emerge portage, it pulls in python-updater-0.7 and it fails to complete

I do a emerge portage and python-updater is pulled in by portage. The python-updater doesn't install sucessfully. It fails. I can't update the portage without fixing this python-updater problem.


Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. emerge portage
2. emerge python-updater
