ccrtp-2.0.0.tar.gz 28-May-2011 22:50 679K libzrtpcpp-2.0.0.tar.gz 28-May-2011 22:50 204K ccrtp-2.0.2.tar.gz 13-Nov-2011 18:17 707K ccrtp-1.7.0.ebuild fails with GCC 4.6 on: ./ccrtp/sources.h:409:11: error: ‘ptrdiff_t’ does not name a type I fixed this like as in [1]. Anyway, ccrtp-1.7.0 seems really stale (btw. as per that Debian bug, version 1.8.0-1.1 is also affected). [1] http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?msg=5;filename=tmpIv2NM5;att=1;bug=626065 (In reply to comment #1) > ccrtp-2.0.0.tar.gz 28-May-2011 22:50 679K > libzrtpcpp-2.0.0.tar.gz 28-May-2011 22:50 204K Jer, ucommon in tree ;) Even if 1.7.0 is stale, it still should build. Could we not incorporate the Debian patch into the ebuild? Having to create a ebuild manually to build one single package is a real pain in the ass. Just ran into this issue as 1.7.0 won't build (and it's the latest version in the tree). Annoying. I can provide the ebuild, but its support is too hard for me; also, perhaps, it could be commit through a proxy, but maintain all the world on the proxy - a utopia, imho. If you want, you can join a proxy committers and support these ebuild itself. P.S I,m NOT gentoo developer Created attachment 322948 [details]

(In reply to comment #7) > Created attachment 322948 [details] > ccrtp-2.0.3 please use preserve_old_lib_notify from eutils.eclass instead of your code in pkg_postinst(). Thanks. (In reply to comment #9) > please use preserve_old_lib_notify from eutils.eclass instead of your code > in > pkg_postinst(). > Thanks. Well, that's not my code. ;) That's cruft left from what is in the current ebuild. See if this does it for you. Created attachment 323368 [details]
ccrtp-2.0.3 with preserve_old_lib
+*ccrtp-2.0.3 (23 Sep 2012) + + 23 Sep 2012; Pacho Ramos <pacho@gentoo.org> +ccrtp-2.0.3.ebuild, + -ccrtp-1.5.0.ebuild, -ccrtp-1.5.1.ebuild: + Version bump, drop old. + If I may ask a stupid question, why isn't libzrtpcpp-2.0.0 in portage? The libzrtpcpp-1.4.1 ebuild requires <net-libs/ccrtp-2, and (IF I understand - far from certain) ccrtp-2.0.3 is needed for gcc-4.6 compatibility. I am starting to run into more and more things that require gcc-4.6, so I hope that it gets stabilized soon. Is there any package which supports >=libzrtcpp-2? I thought linphone deps would need it but they actually fail to comply with any version... Fixed in CVS. |
