I can can confirm the issue reported by Jacek. The patch he has posted a link for is correct but, in fact, it is only necessary to supply the second hunk. This was confirmed in a response on the same thread: http://www.spinics.net/lists/kvm/msg27289.html I checked the latest sources in git to be sure that this alone was the accepted fix and indeed it was. As the issue severely impacts upon the usefulness of qemu-kvm on headless systems, I was going to urge the maintainer(s) to apply the patch in a new revision at the earliest opportunity. However, as qemu-kvm-0.12.2 has been released (containing the fix), and because filing bugs on qemu here appears to serve about as much purpose as banging one's head against a brick wall, I would suggest instead that qemu-kvm-0.12.2 be keyworded stable. yes, qemu-kvm-0.12.2 is fixed. |
