bumped 1.0 to stable |
Yahoo changed their protocol recently. They require the latest version of Yahoo Messenger. 0.99.19.1-r1 is the only version of Yahoo Messenger available to people NOT running unstable ebuilds, i.e. "~x86". This version is now useless as it will not connect to Yahoo. I recommend removing 0.99.19.1-r1 from portage. The other ebuild, 1.0.4.1, works great but requires unstable ("~x86"). I feel this unstable flag should be removed so everyone can use it. Otherwise it's simply broken. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Install ymessenger 0.99.19.1-r1 2. Try to run it and connect to Yahoo Central 3. Observe that it does not work. Actual Results: Failure to connect. Expected Results: Connected to Yahoo successfully, populated "buddy list" and such.
