Because 7.00 has Qt3 depends, and 8.09 doesn't. CC "amd64 ppc x86" if you agree.

Sure, please arches go ahead and stabilize 8.09. We can get rid of the old branch after that.

AMD64 test report

Package installs cleanly without problems here on stable system.

I sure have not done thorough tests of all features, but played a while to get a feeling about its doing. Works nice and reliable so far.
