Sorry forgot I have app-text/acroread-9.2 Still valid now with latest emul- packages? (In reply to comment #2) > Still valid now with latest emul- packages? > Yes. I'm now using luciano@tulum ~ $ equery list emul [ Searching for package 'emul' in all categories among: ] * installed packages [I--] [ ~] app-emulation/emul-linux-x86-baselibs-20091231 (0) [I--] [ ~] app-emulation/emul-linux-x86-compat-20091231 (0) [I--] [ ~] app-emulation/emul-linux-x86-gtklibs-20091231 (0) [I--] [ ~] app-emulation/emul-linux-x86-medialibs-20091231 (0) [I--] [ ~] app-emulation/emul-linux-x86-sdl-20091231 (0) [I--] [ ~] app-emulation/emul-linux-x86-soundlibs-20091231 (0) [I--] [ ~] app-emulation/emul-linux-x86-xlibs-20091231 (0) and the same behaviour persists. I've started using mozplugger with evince, as a workaround. Actually works much better and loads up faster ... I don't know, if this is related. But Firefox 3.6 crashes if I view a PDF file for the second time. I'm using app-emulation/emul-linux-x86-baselibs-20091231 app-emulation/emul-linux-x86-gtklibs-20091231 app-emulation/emul-linux-x86-java-1.6.0.17 app-emulation/emul-linux-x86-medialibs-20091231 app-emulation/emul-linux-x86-sdl-20091231 app-emulation/emul-linux-x86-soundlibs-20091231-r1 app-emulation/emul-linux-x86-xlibs-20091231 app-text/acroread-9.3.1 www-client/mozilla-firefox-3.6-r2 www-plugins/nspluginwrapper-1.2.2-r2 The problem appears only on amd64 systems where the acroread plugin is working via nspluginwrapper nothing for mozilla to handle here. No comments for a year and all involved packages have undergone major updates... If you still have problems, please open a new bug report with information on your current package versions. |
