The dependencies below are not really RDEPENDS of atom in summary and should be moved to DEPEND instead: Here is a list of dependencies to move to DEPEND for atom in summary: - x11-proto/xproto - x11-proto/renderproto zmedico said: "yeah this has been discussed on the -dev ml a few years ago. one solution is to put those headers in DEPEND of the package that actually requires them at build time."

That would require the depending package to know the implementation details of the library, which might change across versions.

This issue should be fixed by PMS by adding a new DEPEND type containing build-deps only.
