Updated ebuilds for openvas, version 3

I just slightly edited original ebuilds currently in the portage. Following packages are inside archive:
openvas-3.0.1 (metapackage)
openvas-client-3.0.0
openvas-libraries-3.0.3
openvas-scanner-3.0.1 (replaces openvas-server)

Works here, great update! This could be in portage tree!
Comment 3 Philipp Reinkemeier 2010-03-22 20:26:21 UTC
latest openvas-libraries version is 3.0.4 now.

ask gpgme-config for the location of header files

instead of patching the header file to use #include <gpgme/gpgme.h>, one could also modify the CMake files to call gpgme-config to ask for the cflags. I am not sure which one is better though ...

Hi,

this blog looks pretty good explained about OpenVAS. I installed OpenVAS on Debian (Raid Systems)(SERVER) nd trying to scan by giving the localhost address or any remote systems… The problem is the report which is getting as an output from openvas is only regarding PORT’s, i just wanted to know is it possible to scan based on application installed in the remote systems or is it possible to scan specific files which i needed to scan respectively.

please provide me the best solution for it, waiting for the earliest response.

Thanking you,

What is keeping this from not showing up in the tree?
Comment 7 Rick Farina (Zero_Chaos) gentoo-dev 2010-07-14 23:06:02 UTC
the gpgme-include patch is resolved upstream in 3.1.0.rc3

see bug 325991
