Build log
I suspect it is linked to app-text/tesseract not built with linguas_en (bug 287373). Can you build tesseract with USE="linguas_en" and try again. I don't really want to add linguas_en as a USE-dep in plowshare but I think tesseract should be built with english dictionary because it tries to use it by default. But Patrick (chutzpah) doesn't answered... I'll give it a try; if it's needed for the tests to succeed you can add it as a test dependency, you know ;) I checked and the bug comes from app-text/tesseract (bug 287373). As a workaround, I've added app-text/tesseract[linguas_en] dependency. The real solution is to remove 'en' from LINGUAS in tesseract and I will do that when I will found some time. Stable version of app-text/tesseract won't make plowshare pass its tests. I discovered that test_ocr *always* fails when using tesseract-2.03 (the stable one). Tesseract-2.04, on the other hand, seems more reliable on decoding (numbers, the test that failed the previous version was decoding numbers). Fixed with 0.9. test_lib.sh is working with tesseract-2.03 and tesseract-2.04. I got a warning in a box but it's not critical (ie. it's not failing). Do not hesitate to reopen this bug if you have any issue with the test suite. |
