Interestingly, `VMWARE_USE_SHIPPED_GTK=yes vmplayer path-to-file.vmx` does not crash. I've remerged gtk since this problem started, but still have no joy running vmplayer without the added option. Whatever problem I was experiencing that led me to open this bug in the first place has seemingly been resolved by the intervening system updates since then and now. VMware player runs as expected. Closing the bug due to inability to replicate the error. |
