Here's the error when trying to execute cssh without xterm: Terminal binary not found (xterm) - please amend $PATH or the cssh config file Died at /usr/bin/cssh line 335. (In reply to comment #0) > As xterm isn't a default dep anymore for X, but cssh needs it, clusterssh > should depend on it You can switch terminal in ${HOME}/.csshrc. Xterm is not strict dependency (In reply to comment #2) > (In reply to comment #0) > > As xterm isn't a default dep anymore for X, but cssh needs it, clusterssh > > should depend on it > > You can switch terminal in ${HOME}/.csshrc. Xterm is not strict dependency > Couldn't you at least add a notice to the ebuild stating that it is possible to set which terminal program to use in ${HOME}/.csshrc? (In reply to comment #3) > Couldn't you at least add a notice to the ebuild stating that it is possible to > set which terminal program to use in ${HOME}/.csshrc? > I've closed this bug as invalid, as response to initial problem i.e. adding xterm to DEPEND. As for the info, it's all written in man cssh. I don't see the point in needlessly copying information.
