i'd take care of the ppc stuff except that my quad g5 has bad ram and ranger/etc... didnt get back to me on getting an account on the ppc64 dev box i dont think hppa/mips even builds ppc/ppc64 seem to be fine for me Marked ~hppa. *** Bug 333065 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** glibc-2.11-r1 not portage anymore, but glibc-2.11.2 present ~mips version at least cross compiles for me [ebuild R ] sys-libs/glibc-2.11.2 to /usr/mipsel-gentoo-linux-gnu/ USE="nls -debug -gd -glibc-omitfp (-hardened) (-multilib) -profile (-selinux) -vanilla" I confirm that glibc-2.11.2 works on mips, on Ben NanoNote. Dynamically linked bash works well too. ====== I have no name!@BenNanoNote / # /lib/libc.so.6 GNU C Library stable release version 2.11.2, by Roland McGrath et al.
