The build environment for the failed emerge
First, try turning off distcc, as you don't seem to have configured it correctly. Then, try to see if it compiles with a more recent gcc - one of 4.3 series has been in stable for awhile. OK. Turning off distcc the package emerged successfully. BTW, distcc used the work correctly before I got confused by all the pump stuff. As for switching to a 4.3 profile, I don't have one: michael@camille mp3 $ sudo gcc-config -l Password: [1] i686-pc-linux-gnu-4.1.2 * michael@camille mp3 $ I will switch to a new profile as soon as one becomes available... Done an 'emerge -upvD @world' lately (in the last few months) ? Every night at 12:30am. emerge --sync is run every night at midnight... |
