I'm not a member of the Gentoo KDE Team, so my apologies if I'm wrong or overstepping my bounds or anything. This is not a bug. There is a circular block, because kdelibs < 3.1.4 will not function with qt > 3.2. Qt-3.2.1 blocks <kdelibs-3.1.4, but upgrading kdelibs first tends to pull in the qt-3.2.1 upgrade, which prevents the emerge from starting. I recommend doing: emerge --nodeps arts kdelibs -u && emerge qt -u && emerge arts kdelibs which will allow you to successfully upgrade both QT and kdelibs. HTH. Steven Robertson Nope, you're right. This is the desired behavior. |
