Sorry but the provided backtrace is basically useless. Please follow instructions at [1] and rebuild everything that gvfs depends on and reopen with the new backtrace. TIA. [1] http://www.gentoo.org/proj/en/qa/backtraces.xml Created attachment 213123 [details]
backtrace
proper backtrace attached. rebuilt gvfs, glib, dbus, and geany with USE="debug" FEATURES="nostrip" CFLAGS="-Os -g -march=k8"
Reopening with backtrace hum, did you restart your machine or at least dbus and your session since updating to gvfs-1.4 ? Yeah, seems like restarting fixed it. I didn't check if restarting the session was enough. Should the ebuild print a note or something? I can't remember the last time I had to restart for a minor update not to crash stuff. I can't remember the > last time I had to restart for a minor update not to crash stuff. > dbus config reload + session restart should be enough. I've added an ewarn about this to 1.4.3 Closing, thanks for reporting. |
