Please find attached an ebuild for glunarclock, a Gnome2 applet based on
wmMoonClock that shows an image (realistic or toon) of the current moon phase in
a Gnome2 panel.

I've included the Manifest, digest, patch, ChangeLog, and initial ebuild in the
attached tarball.

I suggest x11-misc/glunarclock, as other gnome2 applets are in x11-misc. 

This requires >= gtk+-2.0

Nevermind. I just attached the ebuild and the patch, rather than the tarball,
as that's what the recommendations indicated were preferred.

few hints

should use gnome2 eclass (should amongst other things the problem you patched
around)
deps are incorrect, it's an applet so you need at least panel libs.
we're missing the proper header (check skel.ebuild)

Updated ebuild for new version of glunarclock.

Uses gnome2 eclass, does not bother with the original patch at all.

glunarclock-0.30.3 is working nicely on ppc for me.
