Note that the package does not complete the install, so it's not just a QA "detail". you may need a newer version of libdrm, could be the libdrm-9999 (In reply to comment #0) > Snippet below says everything I can tell you for the moment: > > * > * QA Notice: Package has poor programming practices which may compile > * but will almost certainly crash on 64bit architectures. > * > * Function `drmGetDeviceNameFromFd' implicitly converted to pointer at > i830_dri.c:386 > * > * Please file a bug about this at http://bugs.gentoo.org/ > * with the maintaining herd of the package. > * > * ERROR: x11-drivers/xf86-video-intel-2.9.99.901 failed: > * install aborted due to poor programming practices shown above > > > Reproducible: Always > > * ERROR: x11-drivers/xf86-video-intel-2.9.99.901 failed:

Where can I find the ebuild?

From intellinuxgraphics mailinglist I got an info that libdrm 2.4.15+ is needed. Thanks for the information. I won't be able to try it until Tuesday. If upgrading libdrm solves the issue, the ebuild should be updated. .901 was removed from the overlay until upstream makes a proper release. Thanks |
