Feel free to go ahead, CC'ing affected arches. @mabi: this needs a lua-5 stable, which version should we pick (if it's okay to stabilize)? # USE="lua" emerge -1av =net-analyzer/nmap-5.00-r2 These are the packages that would be merged, in order: Calculating dependencies... done! !!! All ebuilds that could satisfy ">=dev-lang/lua-5.1.4-r1[deprecated]" have been masked. !!! One of the following masked packages is required to complete your request: - dev-lang/lua-5.1.4-r4 (masked by: ~arm keyword) - dev-lang/lua-5.1.4-r3 (masked by: ~arm keyword) - dev-lang/lua-5.1.4-r2 (masked by: ~arm keyword) - dev-lang/lua-5.1.4-r1 (masked by: ~arm keyword) mabi hasn't been active since August. -r2 applies some upstream patches, so -r1 is out of the question. robbat2 and I fixed building against lua in the last few days (bug #294368). I say those fixes should probably propagate to users as soon as possible. Because -r4 corrects -r3, we should probably stabilise: =dev-lang/lua-5.1.4-r4 Stable for HPPA. amd64/x86 stable net-analyzer/nmap/nmap-5.00-r2.ebuild: RDEPEND is not explicitly assigned sparc stable arm stable ppc64 done This ebuild is breaking on uClibc now. 4.76 was fine while 5.00-r2 fails on a uClibc host w/o ipv6 support. The simple fix is $(use_enable ipv6) in the ebuild.
