Bug 294988 (piedock_crash) – =x11-misc/piedock-0.2.3 crashes

I use gentoo x86_64 and installed  x11-misc/piedock and added some application icons to the .PieDockrc file.

When i start PieDock it works for the first click, i see my icons  around, and they get bigger when i leave the center.

But shortly before i arrive a icon with the mouse the app is closing. There is no message output on console from PieDock.

In dmesg i get a line like:

Steps to reproduce:
1. Install PieDock
2. Generate configuration like shown here: http://markusfisch.de/?PieDock
3. Start PieDock, trigger PieDock (windows key + left mouse button with my configuration)
4. Try to move to an icon, application crashes


Maybe the problem just exists on x86_64 (amd64), does that app run on x86?

I can't reproduce this, please attach a full backtrace[1] from gdb here and reopen the bug.
