Can we have the CAPA patch applied soon? It causes evolution (and possibly other clients) to hang indefinitely unless you specifically disable pop3 extensions in the client (something most end-users won't know how to do). It is a very trivial patch. Also, the netscape progress bar patch has been found! The bug links to qmail.com, but the patch is on qmail.org. Another trivial patch to add :) I'll do up a new ebuild with these patches if nobody claims it by tomorrow :) present as of -r13: http://www.mcmilk.de/qmail/dl/djb-qmail/patches/08-capa.diff - add support for CAPA http://www.dataloss.nl/software/patches/qmail-popupnofd2close.patch - "Enable stderr logging from checkpassword programs" http://js.hu/package/qmail/qmail-1.03-reread-concurrency.2.patch - "Allow qmail to re-read concurrency limits on HUP" patches still outstanding from the list: pop3 patches: http://www.qmail.org/netscape-progress.patch - netscape progress bar. patch MIA. http://www.dataloss.nl/software/patches/qmail-pop3d-stat.patch - qmail-pop3d reports erroneous figures on STAT after a DELE (needs rediffing) sendmail binary: http://www-dt.e-technik.uni-dortmund.de/~ma/djb/qmail/sendmail-ignore-N.patch - ignore the DSN flag on the sendmail binary, for compatability (qmail does NOT implement DSN) teach qmail-smtpd who it is better: http://www.suspectclass.com/~sgifford/qmail/qmail-1.03-0.0.0.0-0.2.patch - update of existing patch in ebuild, may break some setups http://www.suspectclass.com/~sgifford/qmail/qmail-1.03-moreipme-0.5.patch - breaks 0.0.0.0(-0.2)? patch allows qmail to have lots of ips. http://www.qcc.ca/~charlesc/software/misc/nullenvsender-recipcount.patch - refuse messages from the null envelope sender if they have more than one envelope recipient unknown, patch missing http://qmail.freezer-burn.org/accept-5xx.patch tarpitting et al. http://spamthrottle.qmail.ca/ http://www.leverton.org/qmail.html http://www.palomine.net/qmail/tarpit.html http://www.fefe.de/qmail/ update for -r14: DONE: holdremote http://bugs.gentoo.org/show_bug.cgi?id=31542 auth-after-TLS http://bugs.gentoo.org/show_bug.cgi?id=31426 no-authCRAM http://bugs.gentoo.org/show_bug.cgi?id=33818 pop3d fix http://bugs.gentoo.org/show_bug.cgi?id=34646 netscape-progress http://www.qmail.org/netscape-progress.patch 0.0.0.0 http://www.suspectclass.com/~sgifford/qmail/qmail-1.03-0.0.0.0-0.2.patch no-DSN http://www-dt.e-technik.uni-dortmund.de/~ma/djb/qmail/sendmail-ignore-N.patch accept-5xx http://www.qmail.org/accept-5xx.patch (REDIFFED) pop3d-stat http://www.dataloss.nl/software/patches/qmail-pop3d-stat.patch envrecip http://www.qcc.ca/~charlesc/software/misc/nullenvsender-recipcount.patch TODO: EXTTODO http://www.nrg4u.com/qmail/ext_todo-20030105.patch FUTURE CONSIDERATION: moreipme http://www.suspectclass.com/~sgifford/qmail/qmail-1.03-moreipme-0.5.patch -r16 will be from bug #40486, and contain things from the following bugs: 49816 38849 38967 40010 - important 40521 48885 51967 56512/? (there was another one of this around) 57622 67810 71418 - commented out by default 73492 - just the 'eval' needs to be added. another one to add, simple patch from 68173 qmail-1.03-moreipme is already included as of r15 and r16. I thing qmail-tap is better than qmail-maillog, so can you add this patch instead qmail-maillog? Yes, I'll look into it this weekend. so, what about qmail-tap? qmail-tap is not going to make it into qmail-1.03-r16. It will be scheduled for -r17. QMAIL_EXTRA is implemented trough bug 90631. Moving depending bugs to bug 95892. qmail-1.03-r16 is now in ~ARCH. Please test it as much as you can and report at bug 40486 wether it works or not. mail-mta/netqmail is in portage since a long time |
