Hi, I've got a problem with yakuake-2.9.6:
it compiles fine, but when it starts for the first time, it pops up a menu to specify a scrolldown key - setting it there doesn't work. That itself is not a problem, as one can click on the little downarrow at the bottom right of the yakuake window and set it there; but if the key is set and you let yakuake scroll up by pressing, you cannot get it back down. It never works, not even after killing and restarting it. yakuake is currently totally unusable (unfortunately... I use it a lot :/ ), thus setting severity to major.

Fixed with kde-4.3.4.
Your problem is that you didnt install kdebase-startkde as you were told to by kde4 guide. Anyway now kdelibs depend on mostly everything from kdebase-runtime so this "bug" is gone.
