I guess it needs to depend on || ( >=x11-libs/libXtst-1.1 <x11-proto/xextproto-7.0.99 ) The ati-drivers specificaly require xorg-server-1.6, so they wont compile with xorg-server-1.6+libs for 1.7. Basicaly i agree binary drivers are huge PITA but supporting weird downgrade path for them probably wont happen. So as Christopher already said the ebuild need the to depend on that || code WHEN it start to support xorg-server-1.7 I think we can mark this as resolved fixed now :) |
