Ah... the problem is that these options are not listed in the imapd-ssl config file (but they are listed in the imapd file) IMAP_ENHANCEDIDLE=1 IMAP_USELOCKS=1 I added them to the imapd-ssl config file as well now. Why exactly is this CANTFIX? It's a bug with a clear fix, just patch the installed config file to list these options. Are you referring to /etc/courier-imap/imapd-ssl ? Is it still needed with 4.16.2-r1? Yes, I was referring to /etc/courier-imap/imapd-ssl. I have no clue if it's still an issue because I stopped using Gentoo years ago. Just check if those two options are actually present in /etc/courier-imap/imapd-ssl They are not listed, but this file is from upstream and we are not touching it. Then, I would suggest you to report it directly to upstream to fix it finally in a newer version (and for all distributions too) |
