Just now anjuta[+sourceview] requires libsoup[+gnome]. The latter requires gnome-base/*. But I do not want to install GNOME! Moreover anjuta[+sourceview] works well with libsoup[-gnome] (I have emerged it with --no-deps).

without an emerge --tree anjuta it would be hard to know where this dependency comes from. It's not in anjuta itself though.
