Description Rafal Rzepecki 2009-11-24 14:21:10 UTC
hal merging fails on stable system with
checking for VOLUME_ID... configure: error: Package requirements (libvolume_id >= 0.77) were not met:

No package 'libvolume_id' found

Additionally, all packages of dev-libs/libvolume_id are keyworded ~x86-fbsd. What gives?
Comment 1 Rafal Rzepecki 2009-11-24 14:23:44 UTC
(Just to clarify: emerging libvolume_id despite the keywords fixes the problem.)

Just to clarify: once udev stopped providing libvolume_id,
it switched to libblkid, then hal followed.

Ah, I see. Thanks. I guess hal-0.5.12_rc1 needs an upper udev version dependency, then, though.

Other way around: once you get >=udev-146-r1,
you need >=hal-0.5.13.
