Description Dennis Schridde 2009-11-21 11:01:38 UTC
It would be nice to have an ebuild available for media-plugins/gmpc-dynamic-playlist-0.19.0, information at: http://gmpc.wikia.com/wiki/GMPC_PLUGIN_DYNAMIC_PLAYLIST, download at: http://bitbucket.org/misery/dynamic-playlist/downloads/ (http://bitbucket.org/misery/dynamic-playlist/downloads/gmpc-dynamic-playlist-0.19.0.tar.gz)

"mpd" overlay already contains an ebuild for the live-hg version of this plugin, but for the regular user the 0.19.0 release might be more appropriate.

Reproducible: Always

Ebuild for media-plugins/gmpc-dynamic-playlist
Comment 2 Tom Hendrikx 2009-12-06 20:44:29 UTC
This bug made me curious about the plugin, and since the live version didn't compile today, I wrote the ebuild for 0.19.0. Tested only on ~amd64
Comment 3 Christoph Mende (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2011-02-26 08:42:43 UTC
Doesn't look like the project is still very active. I'll think about adding a 0.19.0, will definitely add 0.20.0 if/when they release it.
Comment 4 Christoph Mende (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2011-04-02 06:51:34 UTC
fyi, I've added an ebuild to betagarden (http://git.overlays.gentoo.org/gitweb/?p=proj/betagarden.git;a=summary) with a patch to compile against 0.20.0.
Upstream still doesn't seem active and considering that the current version already needs a patch to work with current gmpc, this doesn't seem like a good candidate for the main tree.
Comment 5 Christoph Mende (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2016-02-20 20:34:43 UTC
even though there have been patches for current libmpd in their repo, the last commit was in 2013, so I'm closing this as wontfix
