does binutils-2.20+ fail ?  better to stabilize those than dig out crap to fix this ...

I currently have sys-devel/binutils-2.19.1-r1 and net-libs/xulrunner-1.9.2.3-r1.  Do you need me to test binutils-2.20.1-r1?  The original problem was on 2.18-r3.
