The handbook needs to be updated to include information about uvesafb being available now on non gentoo-sources kernels.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. View http://www.gentoo.org/doc/en/handbook/handbook-x86.xml?part=1&chap=10
2. Compare with http://dev.gentoo.org/~spock/projects/uvesafb/
3. Find uvesafb option in vanilla-sources kernel

Fixed in CVS.
Comment 2 Jake Magee 2009-11-17 16:16:10 UTC
How can I view the CVS for the handbook (or build it from CVS...)?

Thanks

You don't need to. Once it's in our CVS, in about an hour or so all our webnodes sync up and pick up the changes.

Thanks for the information Josh, I'll be on the look out for the changes.

Also, just as a note to the bug post, here is the documentation on how to check out the CVS and build it:
