This ebuild contains the linux-firmware ripped from the latest git kernel for use with your devices.  This is often required for users of backported modules.

Actual Results:  
linux-firmware ebuilds are only snapshots, and old ones at that

Expected Results:  
some backported modules (like those from compat-wireless) may need newer firmware than you have installed
