Is this release a "stable" release? ie, will it get security fixes?

seems that it's not "stable" release (1.1.15.3 would be stable then), but I have locally bumped to 1.1.16 as I was suffering some epiphany-2.28 crashes and upstream suggested me to try with 1.1.6 :-/

Then, maybe from a "stable" point of view would be better to bump to 1.1.15.3 instead, but I would highly appreciate being able to install 1.1.16 (even if hardmasked) for testing purposes :-)

It's been in overlay for a few days, stop "harassing" us with bump requests of such changing stuff please.

We discussed this plaes, this release is not security supported. Maybe we should start adding this information to webkit ebuilds so we know which one we can stabilize confidently.

Updating, 1.1.17 is in overlay.

No problem, latest 1.1.15.4 looks stable enough for me now :-)
