Stabilize is ok, but I'd waited a bit to drop 3* version of package. Let's better drop kde part from it.

See also bug 283429. Please reconsider removing the old version 3. Since we have now 4.1 (or soon) stable and 4.2 (in ~arch).

ppc64, please, go with bug 297010 now. Removing you from CC. kchmviewer-3 will be in the tree for some time as I use it on some systems. Probably I'll upgrade, but later (probably on march/may or on summer)...

Qt3 is deprecated and legacy Qt3-based versions of packages in the tree should be removed. If you personally can't let go, then use the ebuild in kde-sunset overlay.

We need ppc to stabilize 4.2 ( 4.1 is stable to x86/amd64 but not PPC64 ) before we remove version 3. 

So adjusting the bugs accordingly and CCing PPC

Still, do not remove 3.1 version from the tree: overlay is not solution. There is problem with some files in qt4 based program and I still need a working program.

There is issue opened here http://bugreports.qt.nokia.com/browse/QTWEBKIT-56 and probably as requested issue will be opened at bugs.webkit.org. I'll update this bug later and will fix it as soon as working qt will be stable. Sorry, but nothing to do here at the moment. LATER.

As this bug is a blocker for the Qt3 removal tracker, please do not close this until it is really fixed.

If there is a problem with Qt4, then please open a bug for it that blocks this one. We should then fix Qt4 so we can proceed with removing Qt3-based ebuilds.
