Restricted lm_sensors version to <3. Another candidate for package.mask and removal... there is an updated version that does not compile with either lm_sensors 2 or 3. Will try to contact upstream about lm_sensors 3 support. Package is broken with newer lm_sensors, upstream is unresponsive. Package.masked pending removal. How is this "FIXED" ? Keywords field should say PMASKED and resolution is "WONTFIX" *AFTER* it's been removed. I had more luck with contacting the upstream. I've got response within an hour. New release which builds with lm_sensors-3 should be out soon. This is good news. Anyways, nothing changes regarding this bug. Versions not compatible with lm_sensors-3 will be removed from the tree. If a new, compatible, version pops out, it will be surely added to the tree. wmgtemp 1.0 was released yesterday. I've tested it with lm_sensors-3.1.2 and it works fine. Attached is also updated ebuild with changed version in lm_sensors dependency and added installing of the man page. Created attachment 225429 [details]

Cool, this really is good news. Added new version to the tree and changed package.mask to let new version through. Does it normally take this long to remove a masked package or is something holding it up? Removed affected version, leaving *no stable version* in the tree. |
