It should be a VirtualBox bug, since I successfully installed it using a real cdrom instead of a virtual one. Personally I think this should be write in paya's book. It's a just recommendation. About complain which should not be here, FreeBSD even cannot power down my laptop, which is not expected. It is not Gentoo's fault, I know, but I think this would somehow limit FreeBSD and of course influence G/FBSD. I concern. Finally, maybe it should be report as another bug, I notice that the copyright information after login as root user is: Gentoo Fundation, 1996~2007. Gentoo is 10 years old this year, isn't it. Where comes the 1996? :) Thank you. Hope this project well. Please check wheter the /usr/src/sys-7.2 symlink exists and points to "sys-7.2-r2" or not. I had to create it manually. I cannot reproduce this bug anymore since I had finished all my installation and do not use VirtualBox anymore. Sorry |
