Can you please the output for the same command with the --debug option enabled? Created attachment 208838 [details]
emerge output with debug option
I had to attach the emerge output as gzip, because it exceeded the file attachment limit.
It seems that mplayer-1.0_rc2_p20090731 is holding back a x264-0.0.20091021 update, which is required for the ffmpeg update. So, unmasking the latest mplayer will probably allow you to update x264 and ffmpeg. I'm not yet sure why there was no warning about the missed x264 update. I'll have to analyze it some more. Yes, I also noticed that and unmasked mplayer. Ok, now the message about the unsatisfied dependencies of ffmpeg is not displayed. Should we consider this an invalid bug? It's still valid. The problem is that the missed x264-0.0.20091021 update was not displayed when it should have been. This is fixed in svn r14780. Here is what the output looks like with the patch applied: !!! One or more updates have been skipped due to a dependency conflict: media-libs/x264:0 ('ebuild', '/', 'media-libs/x264-0.0.20091021', 'merge') conflicts with <media-libs/x264-0.0.20090923 required by ('installed', '/', 'media-video/mplayer-1.0_rc2_p20090731', 'nomerge') !!! The following update(s) have been skipped due to unsatisfied dependencies !!! triggered by backtracking: media-video/ffmpeg:0 This is fixed in 2.1.7.4 and 2.2_rc49. *** Bug 292032 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** |
