media-sound/normalize-0.7.7
sci-mathematics/num-utils-0.5
install /usr/bin/normalize

ugly side effect is that latest k3b (app-cdr/k3b-1.68.0_alpha3) hangs on start on checking normalize version (with num-utils' normalize). k3b tries to run normalize --version and this version of normalize doesn't quit. With media-sound/normalize everything is ok.

I'm not sure how it could be fixed.

@reporter: Please file another bug for app-cdr/k3b, since it should either depend on the correct normalize provider or shouldn't check for it.
