The README file says that under GNU Emacs you need gnuserv-compat instead of gnuserv: ,---- | This is a standalone release of gnuserv for GNU Emacs, requiring | compatibility code (gnuserv-compat.el) to make it work. `---- Therefore I'm inclined to close this bug as invalid. (Also, the site-init file autoloads the "gnuserv-start" command, so the "require" shouldn't be necessary at all. Doesn't it work for you without it?) |
