The stage3 tarball doesn't appear to be present.

There won't be any stages, please use the autobuilds.

Then the part of the install documentation where it claims the LiveDVD includes the stage 3 tarball should be corrected.

The next step you need to perform is to install the stage3 tarball onto your system. You have the option of downloading the required tarball from the Internet or, if you booted one of the Gentoo Universal CDs or LiveDVDs, copy it over from the disc itself. ... Minimal CDs and LiveCDs do not contain any stage3 archive, though the LiveDVDs do.

Leaving the status asis for now.  I am new to gentoo but I was going through the docs and it looks like the same inaccuracy is present.  Please either correct the livedvds or the docs.
