Dolphin fails to start. When running from console the error message is:

<unknown program name>(11563)/: Communication problem with  "dolphin" , it probably crashed. 
Error message was:  "org.freedesktop.DBus.Error.NoReply" : " "Did not receive a reply. Possible causes include: the remote application did not send a reply, the message bus security policy blocked the reply, the reply timeout expired, or the network connection was broken." "

After some time the hanging dolphin process crashes with seqfault:

Your backtrace is incomplete but it seems the same problem upstream: https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=208921

Same problem here.
As upstream mentionned nepomuk, I've stopped nepomuk (wich didn't work anyway), 
rm all file related to nepomuk or strigi in my $HOME.

Now nepomuk and dolphin work

Upstream has resolved the issue as fixed with 4.3.5.

Are you sure this is the same bug?
Please attach emerge --info and a crash log. Do you still see this with 4.4.1 ???
