btg-0.9.7 doesn't work with stable gnutls and 1.0.0-r1 is patched to fix this bug. As 1.0.0-r1 is with no doubt better than 0.9.7, you may want to stabilize 1.0.0-r1 so I will be able to remove 0.9.7 from the tree.

By the way, amd64 is the only arch with a stable btg.

amd64 stable,

- test suite is broken. @@ZLIB_LDFLAGS, no such file or directory.
- had to append-flags -pthread to make it compile at all.
