Yes the solution posted allows for general samba usage and browsing using a kde file manager but when I attempt to see a Windows 7 shared document, I get a message that there was an internal error. Upon simply switching back to 3.38, browsing and sharing works normally. The problem seems to lie only with Windows 7 shares. kdebase-kioslaves-4.3.3-r1 should fix this. Please reopen if you still have failures. Windows 7 seems to do things differently, so we'll have to find out how it fails :) |
