my Xorg.0.log
I talked to the X guys and they directly spotted this: OpenGL vendor string: Mesa Project OpenGL renderer string: Software Rasterizer OpenGL version string: 2.1 Mesa 7.5.1 OpenGL shading language version string: 1.20 OpenGL extensions: So you are using software rendering. Please try to get hardware rendering back again, and report again if you still have bad performance. how can i to do it? Created attachment 206412 [details]
new xorg created by X with same problems
From Xorg.0.log it seems that drm is set up properly. Maybe your user has not enough privileges to access /dev/dri/* Spoke to the devs: "Please, move this discussion to gentoo forums. Thanks." readin the useflag of mesa I see that the useflag xcb is disabled....can to be this the problem of all? other question: I remember that currently Xorg is running with root-privileges, than how can root have not this privileges? relative at configuration, using minimal xorg.conf that I've posted(the I've only forget the endSection), how can is possible that is a bad configuration how do you say? the problem remain and i can't use hardware accelleration with this configuration (In reply to comment #12) > readin the useflag of mesa I see that the useflag xcb is disabled....can to be > this the problem of all? > > other question: I remember that currently Xorg is running with root-privileges, > than how can root have not this privileges? > > relative at configuration, using minimal xorg.conf that I've posted(the I've > only forget the endSection), how can is possible that is a bad configuration > how do you say? the problem remain and i can't use hardware accelleration with > this configuration > Andrea, I am really sorry, but I have to keep this out from here. This is only for bugs and not for support. Please use our forums @ http://forums.gentoo.org/, or our mailinglists http://www.gentoo.org/main/en/lists.xml or visit us in our gentoo irc channels in freenode. At #gentoo-desktop you can directly speak to to the devs, but please try first to solve all questions with user assisted support e.g. #gentoo irc channel. Thanks, justin |
