The only ebuild of app-office/openoffice that is on portage today ist 3.1.1. This version can't open any template, that the user created. See bug 283687:
http://bugs.gentoo.org/show_bug.cgi?id=283687

This bug isn't solved at the moment. If a user uses his own templates after an update to openoffice-3.1.1 he would not be able to get them back.

So we need openoffice-3.0.0 until the bug is fixed.

We are not adding vulnerable versions back to the tree, please create a local overlay with the old version, see bug 286614 for a source.
