I have used parcellite on 3 machines quate long time. One is AMD64 and two other is x86. I didn't find any crashes or wrong behaviors. I use it in gnome and xfce4. It is really more stable and more powerful than xfce4-clipman-plugin, from which I swicht to parcelite. So I think this program must be stable.
