I compile thinkpad_acpi as module, but i don't have /etc/modprobe.d/thinkpad_acpi file .

In my another computer, it has /etc/modprobe.d/thinkpad_acpi file.
what is the matter?

As I don't have a crystal ball, you have to provide some more informations:

qfile /etc/modprobe.d/thinkpad_acpi

content of
/etc/modprobe.d/thinkpad_acpi

Where did you get the module from? Directly from the kernel or is it a package?
