I have just seen that it's called "news-tng", then, it should be renamed or portage should be modified to ask for it Thanks Right, it's a bit unfortunate that the module is named news-tng in eselect-1.1*, but otherwise there would have been a name clash with the stand-alone module from app-admin/eselect-news. See bug 271447, in particular bug 271447 comment #1. Seems that eselect-1.1.3 should provide a news module to replace eselect-news, then, portage has the following as RDEP: || ( >=app-admin/eselect-1.1 >=app-admin/eselect-news-20071201 )) Then, I got my eselect-news depcleaned some time ago. The problem is that eselect-1.1.3 module seems to not work: # eselect news !!!
