i have these menu items (?) and you are running gnome 2.4 also? i have been running some of the beta's and RC's from breakmygentoo, and i haven't seen those script menu-entries in a while. That's why i was looking in the help, to find the alternative way to do it in the new version if the menu-items are supposed to be there i am stunned Created attachment 17686 [details]

this is just a screenshot of my menu where you can clearly see there is no
scripts entry
I run this whole other version of nautilus, straight from the shores of CVS hell. Patched up to the max. Serious, ofcourse i use the same version. Didn't we tell you that using any BMG builds voids your warranty ? No ? It does, i'm serious. But because i'm nice here's something i found out. The scripts items only show when there are scripts around already in ~/.gnome2/nautilus-scripts/ . I believe this is a feature, not a bug. The manual could be updated though, but it would be better to file an upstream bug about that. PS. I believe you on your word, i don't need to see altered screenshots. |
