i have been using arora-0.7.1 for at least a few months since epiphany was broke. just updated and tested again and getting segmentation faults on all versions when javascript is disabled. other than that, it works. ill see if i can enable debug and backtrace. i compiled with USE="debug" and changed my flags to CXXFLAGS="-g -pipe -mcpu=7400 -maltivec -mabi=altivec" but still get the "??" instead of a usefull backtrace with gdb. any suggestions ? #0 0x0f0e2238 in ?? You compiled what? Arora? Qt? If not Qt, then compile all Qt modules with those flags. in reply to commment #3 arora and qt-* was recompiled with those flags bug filled upstream http://code.google.com/p/arora/issues/detail?id=788 Please test with Qt 4.6.0. can not test till this is fixed http://bugs.gentoo.org/show_bug.cgi?id=297671 The binutils issue is supposed to be fixed now. So please test with Qt 4.6.2. It now works properly, marked ~ppc. |
