Apparently one cannot install eix, gnucash,kde4.3 simultaneously since each uses either xz-utils or lzma-utils ? See also bug 284458 wrong. you can keep stable lzma-utils, libarchive and eix OR use unstable xz-utils, libarchive and eix. in short: emerge -C lzma-utils and profit. I tried your suggestionb - no joy: [ebuild R ] kde-base/kstars-4.3.1 USE="-indi%" [ebuild U ] mail-client/mozilla-thunderbird-2.0.0.23 [2.0.0.22] [blocks B ] app-arch/lzma-utils ("app-arch/lzma-utils" is blocking app-arch/xz-utils-4.999.9_beta) [blocks B ] app-arch/xz-utils ("app-arch/xz-utils" is blocking app-arch/lzma-utils-4.32.7) * Error: The above package list contains packages which cannot be * installed at the same time on the same system. Still does not work - insists on emergeing lzma-utils which blocks. |
