Maintainer: This is a user-submitted stabilization request. Please consider. Don't know if Arista is good to stable yet. Nirbheek reports that the Computer and PDA Generic profiles are broken. This is because xvidenc is not supported (we don't have gst-plugins-xvid yet), and even with that installed, I see the following breakage with xvid installed: Traceback (most recent call last): File "/usr/lib/python2.6/site-packages/arista/transcoder.py", line 143, in _got_info self._setup_pass() File "/usr/lib/python2.6/site-packages/arista/transcoder.py", line 293, in _setup_pass if self.info.videocaps[0].has_key("pixel-aspect-ratio"): KeyError: 0 Need to ping upstream about this. I've added gst-plugins-xvid in CVS now. Will try to figure out why Arista's breaking with this. Okay, the problem was with my input file. I'm bumping arista to 0.9.3-r1 with a USE="+xvid" so that gst-plugins-xvid gets pulled in by default. I'd prefer to wait the stipulated 30 days to stable -r1 (along with gst-plugins-xvid) so that people don't hit this problem in the stable tree. Adding arches (I've now keyworded on amd64 as well). requires: media-plugins/gst-plugins-xvid emerge: there are no ebuilds to satisfy "=media-video/arista-0.9.3". I think you want =media-video/arista-0.9.3-r1 Archtested on x86: Everything fine stable x86, thanks David amd64 done |
